05 / ABOUT HANZ
Practical mind.
Restless curiosity.
I like turning abstract ideas into things you can use and interact with. And I like ordinary questions that deserve a second look.
A FEW WORDS ABOUT ME
A practical mind,
with a restless streak.
I’m Hanz, 21, a Year 4 student at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. I build apps, websites, games, and Chrome extensions, with an increasing focus on iOS and Apple Watch.
I also photograph landscapes, portraits, and cosplay, and have covered an event at The Education University of Hong Kong. Photography is more than documentation to me: a way of writing with light.
My video work has reached around two million views. I practise magic and mentalism and have given a commercial performance. These interests shape my sense of timing, aesthetics, and expression.
Sociology, decision models, and game theory are another outlet for curiosity. I write down everyday questions with their assumptions, arguments, and revisions so others can discuss and challenge them.
